Don Garman is an investment professional with more than 25 years of experience. As a veteran portfolio manager, Don has advised clients on a wide range of issues from legacy and estate planning services to investment analysis, portfolio selection, and liability management. Don has earned the prestigious designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Certified Investment Management Analyst and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®.

Prior to Mirador Capital Partners, Don worked for Morgan Stanley as Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, and Portfolio Management Director in The Garman Group. Earlier in his career, Don was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch, where he began his career in 1992. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1992, Don received specialized training in Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management.

Don is a co-founder of Tri-Valley Ventures, the Tri-Valley’s first venture capital firm, which seeks to shape and cultivate the region’s venture ecosystem. Don is very active in the Tri-Valley area and supports many community organizations, including The First Tee of the Tri-Valley, The George Archer Foundation, and the Livermore Valley Wine Growers Foundation. He also serves as President of the Tri-Valley Cal (UC-Berkeley) Alumni Group. He lives in Pleasanton with his wife Mindy and their two children, Emma and Scott.

Jason Pfannenstiel

Jason Pfannenstiel is an advisor and founding partner of Mirador Capital Partners.

Prior to Mirador Capital Partners, Jason was at Morgan Stanley where he provided wealth advisory services for private clients. Earlier in his career, Jason was Managing Director at BTI Group, where he provided mergers, acquisitions and advisory services to owners and management of closely held companies. He began his career in the public and analyst relations division of Keynote Systems, Inc.

Jason received his BS from University of Oregon and roots heavily for Oregon Duck athletics. He serves on several community boards including the Menlo Park Police Department and MPDB, a grass roots organization dedicated to increasing economic vibrancy.

Jason lives in Menlo Park with his wife Charlotte and two children, Jack and Alice.

Carol Wikle

Carol is an investment professional with 18 years of experience. Prior to changing careers in 1998, Carol owned and operated her own company for 16 years, serving as the Chief Financial Officer. Carol understands the needs of business owners and families, and works with them to simplify their financial picture. She works with clients to collaborate with their tax and legal advisors for efficient implementation of their goals and plans. Carol has earned the prestigious designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, Certified Investment Management Analyst, and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor.

Prior to Mirador Capital Partners, Carol was a Financial Advisor, Associate Vice President in The Garman Group at Morgan Stanley. Carol began her career as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch in 1999, building her own practice until joining The Garman Group in 2006 at Merrill Lynch.

Carol actively gives to her community through her 24 years of service in the Castro Valley Rotary Club where she is President Elect for 2016. Carol has also served on the Board of Directors of the San Leandro Boys and Girls Club and the Eden Medical Center Foundation. Her passions include dancing, gardening, cooking, traveling and Bible study. Carol graduated from Cal State East Bay, and is the mother of two sons, Don Garman and Howard Wikle.

Dan Murray

Since 1995, Dan Murray has been actively involved in investment management and the capital markets. Prior to Mirador Capital Partners, Dan worked at Morgan Stanley as a Financial Advisor in The Garman Group. Earlier in his career, Dan was a General Partner for the Manzanita Fund, LP, where he managed a portfolio of equities and ETFs. Dan also served as a Managing Partner of the broker-dealer MasterBlaster Trading Company, LLC. For the firm, he made markets in equity and index options on The Pacific Exchange, as well as the Chicago Board Options Exchange.

Dan is deeply engaged in his community. He is involved in the Northern California Chapter of the University of Colorado's Alumnae Association, where he graduated cum laude in History and Sociology. He is a long-time member of the Mill Valley Historical Society, served as a coordinator of the Mill Valley Soccer Club's Recreational League and coached in the Mill Valley Little League. Since 2010, he has served on the Board of Trustees of the Mount Tamalpias School, where he is also an alumnus. He is an active member of the Meadow Club and Richmond Rod and Gun Club. He enjoys golf, surfing, mountain biking, fishing, and cheering on the Giants.

A native of Marin County, Dan and his wife have made their home with their two young sons in Mill Valley since 2000.

Audrey Glafkides

Audrey has more than 25 years of financial services and real estate experience. Audrey is responsible for the daily operations of the firm as well as trading, compliance, and human resources. In addition, as a Certified Financial Planner, she provides financial planning for clients. She also leads the firm's Women's Investment Education initiative and involvement in the community. Prior to Mirador, Audrey worked for Morgan Stanley as a Relationship Manager in The Garman Group. She has a Series 7, 66 and State of California Insurance licenses and earned the prestigious designation as CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

A native of Pleasanton, Audrey currently serves on the Board of the Livermore Valley Winegrowers Foundation, is the Director of the Tri-Valley Cal Alumni Group, past-Treasurer for the Women's Council of Realtors, and actively volunteers as a member of Pleasanton North Rotary and other local community groups. She is also a 2010 graduate of the Leadership Pleasanton program. A graduate of the University of the Pacific, Audrey lives in Pleasanton with her two children, Scott and Elise.

Lauren Moone is the Executive Vice President with Mirador Capital Partners and has been providing investment advice to high net worth and ultra-high net worth individuals and families since 2007.

She was previously with First Republic Bank, where she was responsible for overseeing $2 billion of fiduciary investment portfolios. Prior to First Republic, Lauren worked with ultra-high net worth individuals and families to provide portfolio construction, asset allocation and financial planning advice at Harris myCFO and Brownson, Rehmus and Foxworth.

Lauren acts as Director of Investments for Tri-Valley Ventures. She is a native of Seattle, Washington and moved to California to attend Claremont McKenna College, where she graduated with a degree in Economics and Accounting. Lauren is a CFA® charterholder and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certificant. Lauren currently resides in Pleasanton, California with her husband and three children. She enjoys snowboarding, waterskiing, playing the piano and cheering on the 49ers.

Adrian Jones

Adrian Jones has spent over two decades in strategy and finance. Since 2005, Adrian has been focused on driving growth for well-known financial services firms. At Mirador he is responsible for leading and driving a variety of strategic initiatives to improve and expand the firm’s offerings and services.

Adrian received his bachelor’s degree from Occidental College, majoring in Diplomacy & World Affairs, and his MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Most recently Adrian was Vice President, Head of Channel Strategy for Charles Schwab Investment Management. During his time there, he also led product management for Schwab ETFs. Prior to Schwab, Adrian worked for BlackRock’s iShares division, leading distribution strategy for the private wealth management and bank channels. Adrian has also worked for Wells Fargo Wealth Management, Deloitte and a boutique firm he co-founded. He has additional international work experience in both Hong Kong and Brussels.

Adrian is passionate about advocating for adoptees. An adoptee himself, he volunteers for My Hoodie Project, a biological family research firm based in Marin. In his role as an Adoptee Advocate he helps adoptees looking for biological relatives in addition to blogging and speaking about a variety of issues surrounding adoption. In addition, Adrian is active in his community, raising money for the local school foundation as well as coaching soccer for the San Anselmo Recreation Department.

Adrian is a boomerang of sorts. Born in Marin, his family moved outside Denver when he was four. In 2006 he returned to Marin settling down in San Anselmo with his wife, daughter and son.

Daniel joined the Mirador team in 2015 after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and a minor in Business. He is responsible for marketing and many day-to-day operations at Mirador. He works closely with Don and Audrey to organize events for the Tri-Valley Cal Alumni Club.

Daniel lives in Livermore where he is able to appreciate the Tri-Valley for its proximity to world class wineries. Daniel enjoys spending his time off traveling, bike riding, reading and pursuing novel dining experiences.

Joey Frantz

Client Service Associate

Joey is a Client Service Associate here at Mirador and is prepared to answer questions about your investments. He holds a Series 7 License, California Life Insurance License, and a degree in Music Management & Communication.

Joey grew up in Chicago and moved to California to play water polo at the University of the Pacific and Team USA. He lives in Concord and has a seven year old son, Jack. Outside the office Joey enjoys rock climbing, dancing argentine tango and swing, and also works as a professional DJ.

Jessica Standlee

Client Service Associate

Jessica is a Client Service Associate and handles a variety of tasks as the gatekeeper at our front desk. If you need an appointment with an advisor, have questions about something you received in the mail or just want to have a friendly chat, she is the voice on the end of the phone when you call our main line.

Jessica was previously in charge of managing a large restaurant in the Bay Area. She is also a certified makeup artist.

Jessica grew up in Pleasanton and and currently lives with her seven year old son, Logan, in Livermore.
